Thanks for Supporting Golfing for Youth

Thanks to everyone who supported the 27th annual Golfing for Youth Benefit Tournament, presented by SAK! More than 300 golfers hit the links on three courses at Whitmoor Country Club and the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club on Aug. 5 for a day of fun to benefit the thousands of children, youth and families Youth In Need serves. Together, we raised more than $150,000! Whether you were a golfer, sponsor, donor or volunteer, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you!

And don’t forget to check out the team photos from this year’s tournament.

Join Us for Fairy Tales Can Come True

Join us for an unforgettable evening of togetherness on Oct. 18 as we celebrate and support the children and families of University City Children’s Center at their annual Fairy Tales Can Come True celebration. This year’s theme is based on the children’s book We Are Together. Like the story, University City Children’s Center is a joyful community where children, families and educators learn to build a culture of joy, love, compassion, empathy and trust. Similarly, we’re excited to share how UCCC and LUME Institute have joined together with Youth In Need to be a team. Secure your tickets online.

St. Louis Gateway to Innovation Funds Youth In Need

Youth In Need is proud to have received $5,000 from the St. Louis Gateway to Innovation conference. Each year, the conference provides community giveback awards to St. Louis nonprofits focused on technology and STEM-related needs. Support from the St. Louis Gateway to Innovation conference will allow Youth In Need to provide new technology supplies in our Our Voice program, creating increased access for youth to pursue their GED equivalent or find employment while staying at our Emergency Shelter or Transitional Living Program. This is Youth In Need’s first time partnering with the St. Louis Gateway to Innovation conference, and we could not be more excited and thankful for their support!
