Counseling Opportunities
Master’s-level students in the fields of social work and counseling can learn about available practicum opportunities at Youth In Need by contacting practicum@youthinneed.org. Opportunities are available at our Emergency Shelter, Transitional Living Program group home and and in our office-based counseling program. Students will gain experience working with diverse individuals and families and have an opportunity to facilitate group counseling. Practicum students also will have an opportunity to gain experience in case management, advocacy, networking and play therapy in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Youth In Need requires a two-semester commitment.
